PTV Mobility Lab
In 2017, the "Smart Mobility for the Karlsruhe Region" initiative was launched by the City of Karlsruhe. As a part of this initiative, a cooperation agreement was signed between the City and "PTV Group" to test future scenarios in a new, modern mobility lab. The aim of this project is to establish a real-time traffic prediction system for the Karlsruhe Technology Region. By doing so, it will help improve Karlsruhe's position as the leading Smart City in Germany and promote it globally.
