An intercultural festival with many highlights
From 22nd until 28th February 2021 the wine festival STUTTGART MEETS MUMBAI will take place online for the first time – an intercultural festival with many highlights.
On Monday the virtual edition of “Stuttgart meets Mumbai” will be opened.

The event invites to interactive webinars, virtual exhibitions, a virtual wine tasting and intercultural art projects. Many participants from the "India Board Karlsruhe" were already guests at the traditional festival in Mumbai, so they know the live event. The city of Karlsruhe has been represented with the "India Board" with a partner stand as a permanent partner for several years. From 22nd until 28th of February 2021 participants will have the chance to: visit a virtual exhibition – take part in interactive webinars – extend their network and enjoy the results of an Indo-German dance and art project.

Perfektes Zusammentreffen zweier genialer Musiker
Es ist das neue Projekt vom Karlsruher Pedro Weiss und Abhirup Roy aus dem indischen Kalkutta – erneut über Ländergrenzen hinweg: „Drumatic Times“ heißt die neue CD der beiden Vollblut-Musiker, die damit durchaus auch schon einen Vorgeschmack auf die kommenden „India Summer Days 2021“ in Karlsruhe geben – geplant wieder im Sommer.

Fans von Schlagzeug und Tabla dürfen sich freuen, denn Roy und Weiss präsentieren erneut eine faszinierende Rhythmus-Mixtur: Denn „Rhythmus ist eine universelle Sprache, die globale Kontakte und elementare Kommunikation ermöglicht“, betont Weiss. Seit Jahren sind die beiden Größen der Musikszene unterwegs – immer wieder dabei auch gemeinsam.
So standen sie schon 2019 gemeinsam bei den „India Summer Days“ auf der Bühne, begeisterten das Publikum. „Jetzt ist unsere neue CD bereit“, erläutert Tabla-Virtuose Roy – und sie zeigt erneut das perfekte Zusammentreffen zweier genialer Musiker – aus Europa und Indien. Diesmal ist zudem einer der besten Komponisten und Musiker an Bord, Klaus Buchner.
