Modern Culinary Culture in Karlsruhe

This year Karlsruhe is "Michelin Host City". "Michelin" awards the coveted stars to Germany's best chefs in Karlsruhe. Karlsruhe Tourism has taken this as an opportunity to proclaim the "Karlsruhe Year of Indulgence", because here you can taste, enjoy and try things out for yourself!

For example, becoming a chocolatier yourself - this dream becomes reality at the praline seminar. Under the guidance of an expert, participants can make their own individual pralines. Various types of chocolate are available and several production methods provide an insight into the delicate art of handicraft. There are no limits to creativity when decorating with sprinkles, pearls and more chocolate. And of course, the homemade delicacies can be tasted afterwards and taken home.

Chocolate makes you happy. All participants in the connoisseur seminar can find out just how much, because everything revolves around this melt-in-the-mouth delicacy. The tasting will range from fermented cocoa beans to exquisite chocolate varieties. High-quality products are used to learn how to judge chocolate as such. Along the way, there are interesting facts about the history, cultivation and processing, enriched with a slide show from the cultivation areas.

Bouquet, barrique, cuvée - at the basic wine seminar, guests learn the basics of professional wine tasting. Accompanied by a sommelier, various exquisite wines are tasted and their characteristics and differences are worked out. In a relaxed atmosphere, the senses are sensitised to the noble drops and the world of wine is rediscovered. Of course, there are also tasty bites for the small appetite.

Info: Of course, there will be the tried and tested culinary offers for groups again this year, from the guided tour of the brewery, to the tour of the Old Slaughterhouse followed by a craft beer speed tasting, to the culinary tour of Durlach, www.karlsruhe-erleben.de/schon-probiert

Anlaufstelle in Pune
