Incubator Virtual Tour to Germany
We can't meet in person this year, but because we believe entrepreneurial ventures between India and Germany are part of the answer, we decided to do a Virtual Incubator Tour, until we can again. Together with CEFE International we lead through the German Startup Ecosystem with a special focus on incubation in order to help explore the German market, learn from best practices, increase capacity, develop internationalization programs for startups and identify potential partners in the German startup ecosystem.

Starting on May, 19th to June, 4th, with two dedicated days a week 3-4 hours each, 15 selected Indian incubators will have the chance to peek behind the doors of some of the German markets leading incubators and other ecosystem players. We will lead your incubator from understanding the peculiarities of the German market to creating an actual internationalization plan, designed to support startups in your cohort to venture into international market.
The “Incubator Virtual Tour” will deal with the topic “Explore Germany - Learning best practices & identifying partners in Germany”. Established incubators with good track record & a desire to support internationalization efforts of their incubates. Similar to a start-up tour, the incubators will be given an overview of the regional start-up conditions, right at the beginning:

10: 45-12: 15 Introduction to the Germany Startup Ecosystem & the Regions

Karlsruhe will also present itself with its “India Board”, which builds a bridge to India. Whether regional overview, capacity building or internationalization: it's about presentations, workshops & matchmaking. Germany is presented as a start-up destination, including a workshop: “How to set up a startup & an incubator in Germany, broad overview, legal forms and general information, useful resources”.
In the second week, the workshop will focus on “Building a successful online incubation program” and how to identify partners along the start-up life cycle.
In the third week there is the presentation: From India to Germany, Mainstage Incubator shares experiences with scaling Indian ventures in Germany.
