The event invites to interactive webinars, virtual exhibitions, a virtual wine tasting and intercultural art projects. Many participants from the "India Board Karlsruhe" were already guests at the traditional festival in Mumbai, so they know the live event. The city of Karlsruhe has been represented with the "India Board" with a partner stand as a permanent partner for several years. From 22nd until 28th of February 2021 participants will have the chance to: visit a virtual exhibition – take part in interactive webinars – extend their network and enjoy the results of an Indo-German dance and art project.

Unfortunately, the opening will not be possible on place this year - but Karlsruhe will still be present in 2021 - through a virtual partner profile that can be visited under the umbrella of "The City of Karlsruhe - India Board". This year visitors will be greeted by a video message from Mayor Dr. Frank Mentrup welcomed.

22.02. The official Opening takes place at 9.00 AM CET / 13.30 PM IST. The Indian Honorary Consulate Stuttgart opens the 17th wine festival “Stuttgart meets Mumbai” – afterwards the cities of Karlsruhe and Stuttgart inform about Startups in the state of Baden-Württemberg, followed at 14.00 PM CET / 18.30 PM IST: “Celebrating Indian Cinema” – the “Indian Film Festival Stuttgart” shows some impressions.

On Tuesday, 23.02.2021, starting at 14.00 PM CET / 18.30 PM IST, the Baden-Württemberg winemakers give information about Baden-Württemberg, land of philosophers, poets and brilliant wine.

During the corona pandemic, a German and an Indian artist worked on a joint art project exclusively for the wine festival. The results of the project will be presented to the public for the first time as part of the wine festival. Dancers from Stuttgart and Mumbai perform various dances in front of the sights of their respective hometowns. The recordings may also be viewed on the Weinfest platform.

Anlaufstelle in Pune
